Model and actress Twisha Sharma found dead

Though single women often face harassment, getting married is increasingly risky, because of large number of women facing dowry related problems, are harassed and found dead, with the death called suicide when it may be a murder.
Increasingly the mainstream is reporting cases of young women who are found dead a few years or months after their marriage .
These are young good looking women from rich families, they deserved a better and longer life.
The mainstream media reported the death of actress and model Twisha Sharma, a young woman from Noida a few months after her marriage to Samarth Singh from Bhopal in December 2025. Twisha Sharma was miss pune in 2012, yet she could not anticipate that marriage would lead her to this fate.
On May 11, 2026 Twisha was found dead, hanging due to suicide or murder (depending on whose version is correct) in her husband’s house at Katara hills, in Bhopal.
The police are investigating and the husband is absconding, his anticipatory bail plea has been rejected.
Her mother-in-law Giribala Singh, a retired judge allegedly claimed that Twisha was a drug addict who consumed a large amount of marijuana, according to media reports.
There were injury marks on Twisha’s body according to the post mortem report.
Twisha Sharma’s father Navnidhi Sharma claims that his daughter was murdered.
